Students FAQ

Each year new technology is introduced into our daily lives which we rely on to connect to the people around us. Reinhardt’s IT department seeks to make available ways to use your technology with our systems.

Email Setup: (both students and staff/faculty)

Most mobile devices today allow you to just enter your email address to setup your email account.  If for whatever reason this auto-setup does not work on your device, use the following manual settings:
POP setting  (downloads the email to your phone)
Server name: outlook.office365.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL

IMAP setting  (leaves all the email on the mail server)
Server name: outlook.office365.com
Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL

SMTP setting
Server name: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS

Note: Ensure you use the ports listed above, your account will not function otherwise.
